Hundreds of larger-than-life lanterns showcase the beauty and artistry of Chinese culture in this authentic multi-cultural experience that's become a popular holiday tradition for North Carolina families.
Cary’s Booth Amphitheatre has transformed into a magnificent setting this holiday season for the N.C. Chinese Lantern Festival. This affordable, family friendly cultural experience features ALL-NEW lanterns and runs through January 13, 2019.
Lanterns are hand-crafted by visiting Chinese artisans and glow with thousands of LED that illuminate our winter nights. Guests won’t want to miss the spectacular 200-foot Floating Dragon on Symphony Lake. Bring your family as festival admission includes Chinese cultural performances, martial arts, acrobatics, contortion, as well as artisan craft-making.
Cultural performances take place on stage several times throughout the evening, weather permitting.
